Message After last posting about no-name underdrive pulleys the responses were hillarious and intriguing, so i've been searching for recorded/documented occurences of underdrive pulleys "coming
apart" as one post mentioned. So far, none. Unfounded claims of bearing failure due their use is the most popular, but dissintegration of underdrive pulley is nowhere in sight. If anyone has any
evidence of this I think it would be a much more substatiated cause for discouraging others from buying non-brand name parts. Fear of the unknown seems to be the great motivator to insist
that we spend rediculous amounts of money on parts that should cost 1/3rd of what we are charged. When flowmasters came out they were the only game in town and their price was high until
everyone figured out that this exhaust technology could be produced for less. It's called competition. I guess that out the multiplied millions of machinist/metallurgist in the world UR happens to have
hired the only 3-5 guys that know how to do it right...Yeah...and my mom's homemade tortillas are the worlds best. Let there be proof before justification, otherwise face it, you don't mind
getting scammed. If my pulley explodes and my Z goes down in a ball of flames, believe you me, you'll be the first to know. Until then I'm the only one with enough guts to do the research and
call the bluff of expert marketing teams with one goal in mind, get our money, even if it means using unfounded fear tactics to get it. Be patient and work with me here! Thanx
